Episode 1: Quantum Jump

Taken against his will to the West, East German soldier Martin Rauch undergoes intensive spy training and assumes a new identity as Moritz Stamm, an officer working for a top West German general.

Episode 2: Brave Guy

Moritz is assigned to steal a top-secret security report from a visiting general’s hotel room. The mission doesn’t go to plan, and his superiors are baffled by the nature of the document.

Episode 3: Atlantic Lion

On a trip to Brussels, Moritz bonds with General Edel and receives a new mission: seduce Linda, secretary to a top NATO analyst, and plant a listening device in a desk at NATO headquarters.

Episode 4: Northern Wedding

The bug in Linda’s desk is discovered and NATO goes on high alert. Moritz begins to see the dark truth about the regime he serves, while Alex has a bitter argument with his father.

Episode 5: Cold Fire

Tischbier delivers shocking news. Moritz, on his way home to donate a kidney to his mother, must first deliver a suspicious package to a mysterious contact in West Berlin.

Episode 6: Brandy Station

Schweppenstette visits Martin in hospital and demands he resume his role as undercover agent Moritz. Meanwhile, Alex takes General Jackson hostage and forces a televised denouncement of US plans.

Episode 7: Bold Guard

Tischbier joins a student protest at the military base and delivers devastating news to Alex. Moritz grows alarmed as East German officials appear to treat NATO’s war games as a real threat.

Episode 8: Able Archer

Alex confronts his past while Ingrid attempts to save Thomas from prison. As nuclear tensions rise, Moritz must act quickly to avert global catastrophe.
