Episode 2

Elle is determined to find out what happened to her missing friend, Sofie. She leaves her father and their herd of reindeer in the highlands and heads south.

Episode 3

Maja's theory that there is a possible serial killer at large in a quiet Norwegian village is finally accepted by the police, who permit her to join the murder investigation.

Episode 4

The tension is ramped up as Maja and the other investigators look for connections between several other murders and missing person cases.

Episode 5

Maja confronts her father in a bid to draw family secrets out into the open. But he skilfully deflects her suspicions, and Maja is left in a state of emotional chaos.

Episode 6

Maja's confrontation with her father has major consequences. The day after their big argument, he is found dead at home.

Episode 7

Despite all the warnings about dragging her personal trauma into the case, Maja decides to try one last time to talk to her disturbed mother.

Suspicion falls on a familiar face. The police put into action a plan to seize their suspect, but he evades them and vanishes.
